Northern Apex takes great pride in the talents and resources available through our diverse assembly staff.  As a manufacturer of Electronic & Electro-Mechanical Assemblies emphasizing high quality, cost effective manufacturing/design Engineering support, we believe that it is our assembly team approach that ultimately makes the difference.

Mission

The goal for Northern Apex is to establish a flexible, cost competitive out-source alternative for manufacturers.  In order to be cost competitive, we have structured our assembly teams to have the experience and flexibility backed by a strong Manufacturing Engineering Management team to ensure efficient cost effective assembly solutions.  By combining our talented personnel with well documented Assembly Processes, tools, fixtures, and jigs, Northern Apex strives to provide the lowest cost optimal manufacturing approach from Basic Sub-Assembly Production to Complete Product Manufacturing. 

Assembly Team 

Electronics Assembly/Solder:
The core of our assembly typically begins with our professional, intricate electronic assembly personnel.  Our capabilities range from basic electronic assembly and solder to precise Mil-Spec level assembly and solder.  The available experience and training allows Northern Apex to attack those intricate assemblies that may require build to print or schematic interpretation. Our solder and assembly team will also utilize our in-house automatic wave soldering machine whenever possible to ensure that our results emphasize high quality, cost effective methods.

Electro-Mechanical Assembly:
Northern Apex Electro-Mechanical personnel concentrate on those products which require combined Electronic and Mechanical Assembly Integration.  Our capabilities include machining, fabricating, and assembly of various metal and plastic components which ultimately interface with electronics assembly or wire termination.  Typical projects for this team ultimately require the merging of electronic assemblies or components to custom machined or fabricated assemblies. (i.e.  Control Panels, Control Boxes, Sensor Assemblies, Sub-Assemblies). 

Mechanical Assembly / Kitting:
The Northern Apex Mechanical assembly team was formed to meet the needs of those customers requiring mechanical assembly services only.  This area of production is set up to do efficient, low cost, assembly work requiring machined or fabricated parts, hardware attachment or sub-assembly needs.
